We lose leaders for many reasons, but the plain fact is that the continuing success of the group depends on more members being prepared to step up and take a more active role.
Sundays are particularly difficult to fill, often because of disruption to travel, but this could be an ideal opportunity for you to do your bit by leading a local Sunday walk. There are plenty of suitable locations in our borough and most of you must have a favourite local walk you could share.
